We are seeking an experienced Joinery Project Planner to support the planning, scheduling, and coordination of joinery manufacturing and installation projects. The role is responsible for preparing and monitoring project programs, coordinating factory production schedules, tracking installation progress, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and in line with project requirements.
Responsibilities
· Prepare master project programs and detailed schedules for awarded joinery projects
· Develop timelines covering shop drawings, procurement, production, finishing, delivery, and installation activities
· Prepare baseline programs, weekly updates, and recovery plans for delayed activities
· Identify critical paths, project risks, and scheduling conflicts
· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans for factory operations
· Coordinate production loading across factory departments and monitor manpower allocation
· Track production progress and identify workflow bottlenecks
· Prepare installation schedules and look-ahead programs for factory and site activities
· Coordinate delivery schedules with site teams and monitor installation progress
· Monitor actual progress against planned schedules and report delays or risks
· Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and tracking updates
· Coordinate with Project Managers, Factory Managers, Procurement, QA/QC, and Site Teams to ensure smooth project execution
· Attend planning, progress, and project review meetings
· Ensure updated schedules and project information are communicated across all departments
Requirements
· Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
· Minimum 4–6 years of experience in joinery manufacturing, fit-out planning, or project planning roles
· Strong understanding of joinery production processes, factory workflow, and installation sequencing
· Experience in high-end residential fit-out and bespoke joinery projects preferred
· Experience preparing and managing master programmes, production schedules, and installation timelines
· Familiarity with procurement coordination, material lead times, and project delivery processes
· Knowledge of construction and fit-out methodologies, project coordination, and site operations
· Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Excel
· Strong planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring skills
· Good understanding of critical path analysis and project sequencing
· Strong coordination and communication skills
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet project deadlines
