We are seeking an experienced Joinery QA/QC Officer responsible for ensuring that all joinery manufacturing and installation works comply with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and company quality standards. The role involves inspections during factory production and site installation, managing snagging activities, preparing quality reports, and ensuring corrective actions are properly implemented to maintain high-quality project delivery.
Responsibilities
· Conduct quality inspections during joinery manufacturing and site installation works
· Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, material requirements, and client approvals
· Monitor production and installation processes to maintain consistent quality standards
· Verify dimensions, finishes, alignment, and workmanship of joinery works
· Inspect raw materials, hardware, veneers, laminates, and finishes prior to and during production
· Carry out in-process inspections during cutting, assembly, sanding, polishing, and finishing stages
· Approve or reject finished items based on quality compliance before dispatch
· Conduct site inspections during and after installation to ensure compliance with approved shop drawings
· Prepare snag lists and monitor closure of defects until final handover
· Track non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure corrective actions are implemented
· Coordinate Work Inspection Requests (WIR/WIC) with consultants, clients, and site teams
· Prepare QA/QC inspection reports, checklists, and quality documentation
· Maintain inspection records, material approvals, and photographic evidence of quality issues
· Coordinate with production, factory supervisors, and site teams to resolve quality-related issues
· Attend quality and project coordination meetings
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during inspections
Requirements
· Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Fit-Out, Carpentry, or a related field
· Minimum 3–5 years of experience in QA/QC within joinery or interior fit-out projects
· Strong knowledge of joinery manufacturing and installation processes
· Experience in high-end residential or luxury fit-out projects preferred
· Ability to read and interpret technical and shop drawings
· Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures, inspection standards, and snagging processes
· Knowledge of joinery materials, finishes, hardware, and workmanship standards
· UAE/GCC experience is preferred
· Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
· Good communication, reporting, and coordination abilities
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PDF mark-up tools, and AutoCAD
