Job Title: Cable Jointer – 33kV & 132kV

Industry: Power & Infrastructure / EPC Contracting

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Cable Jointer to join our contracting team for ongoing and upcoming power infrastructure projects in the UAE. The candidate must have proven hands-on experience in 33kV and 132kV cable jointing and termination works and be well-versed with UAE utility standards and site safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute jointing and termination of 33kV and 132kV XLPE underground power cables in line with approved method statements and utility requirements.
• Ensure all works comply with DEWA/ADDC/TRANSCO or relevant UAE authority standards and project specifications.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, QA/QC, and testing teams during installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Read and interpret approved drawings, cable schedules, and technical documents.
• Carry out pre-jointing inspections and post-jointing checks to ensure quality and reliability.
• Maintain proper use of tools, jointing kits, and consumables; ensure good housekeeping at site.
• Follow HSE policies, toolbox talks, and permit-to-work systems.
• Report site progress, issues, or non-conformities to the site supervisor/engineer.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience as a Cable Jointer in 33kV and 132kV power projects.
• Prior experience working with UAE contracting companies or utility projects is mandatory.
• Familiar with jointing kits from approved manufacturers (e.g., Raychem, Nexans, Pfisterer, etc.).
• Knowledge of UAE site safety regulations and permit systems.
• Ability to work independently and under tight project timelines.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
