JOURNALIST CUM ANCHOR

Headquartered in Bangalore, we are the voice of the K-12 education sector, providing credible coverage of schools, industry insights, and thought leadership content. We are expanding our media and digital presence and are looking for a dynamic Journalist cum Anchor to join our Bangalore team.

Job Role & Responsibilities:

As a Journalist cum Anchor, you will be the face and voice of EducationToday’s news and digital platforms. Your role will combine reporting, anchoring, and content creation across print, digital, and video formats. Key responsibilities include:

• Anchoring panel discussions, interviews, podcasts, and live events related to the education sector.
• Researching, writing, and editing engaging news stories, features, and blogs on education, schools, and industry trends.
• Conducting interviews with principals, educators, and education leaders.
• Collaborating with the editorial team to develop story ideas and content strategies.
• Representing EducationToday at summits, conferences, and award ceremonies as a host/anchor.
• Creating engaging video scripts, voiceovers, and social media content to enhance brand visibility.
• Staying updated with education policies, reforms, and industry news.

Requirements & Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or related field.
• Prior experience as a Journalist, News Anchor, or Content Creator (minimum 1 –2 years preferred).
• Strong communication and presentation skills with a confident on-camera presence.
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English (knowledge of regional languages is a plus).
• Ability to handle interviews and discussions in a professional and engaging manner.
• Passionate about education, current affairs, and media.
• Proficiency in digital media, social platforms, and basic video production tools is an advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
