The Media Pioneers Program is a graduate development initiative by Dubai Media designed to develop the next generation of journalists in the UAE.

This intensive 2-month paid training program offers fresh graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on newsroom experience, professional journalism training, and direct exposure to the media industry through practical assignments, mentorship, and real editorial environments across Al Bayan and Emarat Al Youm.

Participants will be trained in core journalism competencies including news writing, interviewing, research and fact-checking, digital storytelling, media ethics, newsroom operations, and multimedia content production.

Throughout the program, trainees will work closely with experienced editors and journalists while developing the skills needed to succeed in a fast-paced media environment.

At the end of the program, top-performing graduates may be offered full-time opportunities within Dubai Media’s newspaper platforms, including Al Bayan and Emarat Al Youm.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements

• UAE National.
• Fresh graduate or candidate with up to 2 years of experience after graduation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media, Public Relations, Digital Media, Arabic Language, Communication Studies, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Arabic writing, grammar, and storytelling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for journalism, news, media, and storytelling.
• Interest in current affairs, digital media, and content creation.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of social media and digital publishing platforms is preferred.
• Previous internships, university media projects, or student publications are considered a plus.
