Journeyman Carpenter

Pay: $20–$24 per hour (DOE)

American Contractor Group is hiring an experienced Journeyman Carpenter for residential interior renovations, including kitchens, bathrooms, and large additions, as well as light commercial work. This role is intended for skilled professionals with solid job-site experience — not handyman work.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled carpentry work related to renovations and additions
• Read and work from plans, layouts, and specifications
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Maintain professional job-site standards
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet project schedules

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level carpentry experience required
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods
• Basic personal carpentry tools
• Reliable transportation and professional references

Preferred

• Experience leading tasks or mentoring helpers
• Ability to transport materials; truck a plus
• Strong plumbing and electrical experience for top of pay scale
