Requirements:
· A high school diploma or equivalent
· A valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements
· Current Journeyman card
· Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
· A self-starter attitude that can work with little or no supervision
· Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and the ability to adapt and learn quickly
· Excellent communication and people skills
· Personal Hand Tools required to complete electrical work
· Minimum of 6 years' experience in the electrical trade with experience in the following:
o Working with other trades in conflict resolution
o Preforming the installation of conduits, feeders, boxes, building lighting, site lighting transformers, panels, breakers, service entrance conductors, switchgear (in both residential and commercial settings), underground conduit, lighting control panels, service disconnects, terminating, bonding, grounding, in all single and three-phase configurations
o Using NEC (NFPA 70) to resolve questions concerning the installation of electrical work
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in supervisory position with experience in the following:
o Reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and other materials to determine job requirements
o Documenting all work to be performed for change order work with photos, video, and written notes as necessary.
o Communicating with electrical supervisor project status and any on site adjustments of electrical work
o Managing on-site materials
o Directing electricians to complete tasks to meet project schedule and keep the project under budget
· Able to perform all duties in a safe and professional manner
· Able to carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
· Able to perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment
· Able to work overtime if required with short notice
· Able to work alternative shifts or weekends from time to time to meet customer and/or job requirements
Responsibilities:
· Reports daily to Electrical Supervisor
· Receives generalized set of directions from the Electrical Supervisor to meet project schedule
· Determines, organizes, and assigns daily electrical tasks based on the general guidance from the Electrical Supervisor
· Ensures all work is performed in a safe manner
· Assists on-site electricians in the installation of all electrical work
· Gives guidance and instruction to lower-level electricians
· Reports material and labor needs to electrical supervisor to ensure task are completed in a timely manner
