Journeyman Electrician

AgriPower Solar (APS) is a renewable energy source company, installing large utility power production, dual axis solar arrays in rural areas.

APS is currently looking for a Service, Journeyman Electrician with 4 years training and experience in the electrical field. The work offered is nearly exclusively located in rural areas. As such the candidate must be willing to travel.

The scope of work offered will include service and maintenance on Photo Voltaic power production equipment including inverters, PV panels, combiner boxes, cellular connectivity, circuitry, and Mechanical maintenance, etc.

The systems that the applicant would be maintaining vary in size from 480volt, 200amps to well over 1000amps AC., and 800-1500Vdc.

AgriPower Systems designs state of the art, end to end solar power systems for farmers and agricultural businesses across the Western United States (primarily in Idaho and Utah).

Key Responsibilities

• Service and maintain electrical components
• Service and maintain mechanical components
• Follow local and national codes
• Make and keep schedules
• Order and maintain materials

Expectations:

• Vehicle and gas card are provided
• A current drivers license with a good record is required
• Experience with towing trailers and working with equipment is preferred
• Per diem is paid on out of town work
• Paid holidays and vacation
• Health insurance

Applicants Background:

• 4 years training and experience in the electrical field
• Must have a good driving record
• Good mechanical aptitude
• ability to read plans

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
