Journeyman Electrician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various residential,commercial , and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), safety standards, and project specifications. Responsibilities

• Install, wire, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprints.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects.
• Conduct inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with NEC standards and safety regulations.
• Utilize testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, framing carpentry, and general handyman tasks as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections for each project.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification.
• Proven residential electrician experience with troubleshooting skills.
• Commercial electrician experience is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards for safe electrical installations.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing devices effectively.
• Construction site experience including renovation projects and framing carpentry is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently on-site.

Pay: $36.44 - $45.00 per hour
