Journeyman Electrician - Commercial (Centennial, CO)
Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Journeyman Electrician needs to be a self-starting team player who is hard-working, a positive leader, and is adaptable to different working environments. Main responsibilities are following the NEC Codebook, blueprints, training and educating apprentices.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active Journeyman or Master Electrician’s license required.
- High school graduate or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Understands the basics of AC/DC electrical fundamentals.
- General mechanical aptitude and familiarity with working with hand tools.
- Demonstrated computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office.
- Able to speak, write, and read the English language.
- Valid driver's license with a good MVR.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Terminate both high and low voltage equipment and cable/wiring.
- Read blueprints to determine the scope of work and order the correct materials.
- Assemble and install electrical equipment.
- Train and educate apprentice level employees in-use and practical application of NEC code.
- Manage apprentices on the jobsite so work gets done in a timely manner.
- Is familiar with NFPA 70E guidelines and must be able to practically apply guidelines in the field.
- Ability and willingness to travel to other work sites and remote locations, as necessary.
- Comply with all safety work procedures in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Maintain strong customer service and relations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WORK CONDITIONS:
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Able to function in all environments safely and effectively.
- Must be able and willing to work in adverse weather (i.e., cold temperatures and high heat).
- Must be able to work from elevated platforms.
- Must be able to operate heavy equipment (i.e., scissor lifts, aerial lifts, backhoe etc.).
- Must be able to bend and cut conduit using hand saws, hand tube bending equipment as well as power and hydraulic cutting and tube bending devices.
- Must be able to push, pull, or lift up-to 60 lbs.
