Journeyman Electrician / Low-Volt Technician

Entertainment Technology is looking to add a full-time team member based out of our shop. This is a great opportunity for a Journeyman Electrician who’s interested in growing beyond traditional electrical work and learning cutting-edge systems like lighting control, smart automation, networking, surveillance, etc. We also welcome Control4 Installers who have already passed the Control4 Automation Programmer class and want to take their skills to the next level.

Minimum Requirements (Must meet ONE of the following):
– At least 2 years of verifiable experience as a Journeyman Electrician
OR
– Passed the Control4 Automation Programmer certification course with 2 Years of verifiable experience.

This Role Is a Fit If You:
– A electrician ready to explore the world of lighting control, smart systems, and low voltage wiring
– Enjoy learning new technology and solving problems in the field
– Can run conduit and circuits but also want to understand how those connect to systems like Control4, Lutron, and smart networks
– Work well with others and want to be part of a team doing high-quality, clean work

What We’re Looking For:
– Good attitude, motivated, and willing to learn new things
– Someone who takes pride in their work and pays attention to detail
– Able to follow direction, adapt quickly, and contribute to a team dynamic
– Clean and presentable in both appearance and communication
– Able to lift 50 lbs, use ladders, and work in attics or crawlspaces
– Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required
– Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

Bonus Experience (Not required, but a plus):
– Experience with Control4, Lutron, low voltage wiring, or AV systems
– Knowledge of home networks, surveillance camera installs, or trim-out
– Any previous work with automation or smart home integration

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
