Journeyman HVAC Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman HVAC Service Technician to perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, accurate diagnostics, and the ability to work independently while delivering high-quality service in the field.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment including rooftop units, split systems, heat pumps, and related components. Daily responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, conducting system inspections, and ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and within manufacturer specifications. The technician will read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals, while maintaining compliance with safety standards, codes, and company procedures.

This position requires clear and professional communication with customers to explain system issues and recommend solutions. Technicians are expected to complete service documentation accurately, respond to emergency service calls when needed, and represent the company with professionalism at all times.

Candidates should have journeyman-level HVAC experience, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems. EPA 608 Certification is required, along with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• HVAC: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• EPA Type II (Preferred)
