Journeyman Painter

Job Summary
As a Journeyman/Journeywoman Painter, you will be responsible for producing high-quality finishes in both residential and commercial settings. Your role will involve executing prep such as pressure washing, drywall repair, sandblasting, caulking, masking etc. as well as applying and understanding several different paint systems. You will utilize a range of hand and power tools such as pressure washer, sprayer, compressor, scissor lift, etc. You will be expected to be on time daily, have a positive attitude and be able to follow direction efficiently.

What you’ll do

• Follow the instructions of your foreman regarding the scope of each project
• Execute residential and commercial painting tasks with precision, including waterproofing, powerwashing, caulking, applying residential and industrial coatings
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various painting techniques, including airless paint spraying, power washer, and line striper.
• Collaborate with team members on projects cordially and efficiently.
• Conduct maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring all fixtures are installed correctly, cleaning up after yourself and your team

Basic qualifications

• Proven experience in painting with strong recommendations from previous employers
• customer service

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in industrial painting or masonry work
• Familiarity with hand and power tools

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
