Journeyman Pipe Fitters - Austin, TX - $30-$35/hr - 50-60+ Hours - Long-Term Commercial Project

Immediate openings for experienced Journeyman Pipe Fitters on a large-scale industrial construction project in the Austin area. We are seeking pipe fitters with strong commercial and industrial experience, especially candidates with extensive copper piping expertise.

Pay & Schedule

• $30–$35/hr based on experience
• 50+ hours per week
• Overtime available
• Weekly pay
• Long-term project

Scope of Work

• Install, fit, and assemble piping systems
• Measure, cut, thread, groove, and fit pipe
• Install and connect copper piping systems
• Braze and solder copper pipe to specification
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Install pipe supports, hangers, and related components
• Perform testing and troubleshooting of piping systems
• Maintain quality and safety standards on site

Requirements

• Journeyman Pipe Fitter experience
• Strong commercial or industrial construction experience required
• Extensive copper piping experience required
• Proficient in brazing and soldering copper pipe
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 required
• Reliable transportation and basic tools
• Ability to work overtime as needed

Preferred Experience

• Mechanical room installations
• Process piping systems
• Large manufacturing, industrial, semiconductor, or advanced technology facility experience

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
