What you’ll do

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installations.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
• Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly as needed for different projects.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing work with other trades.
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations during all work.
• Engage in heavy lifting tasks as required to complete installations or repairs.

Basic qualifications

• Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material estimates.

Preferred qualifications

• Previous field service experience in plumbing or related maintenance person roles.
• Skills in carpentry and remodeling are advantageous for project versatility.
• Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is preferred but not mandatory.
