Journeyperson Plumber – Service & Repair Focus

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Journeyperson Plumber to join our growing service team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and light commercial settings. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver exceptional service to our valued customers.

Duties

• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues in homes and businesses, providing effective and lasting solutions.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on water heaters, water softeners, faucets, fixtures, drains, and other plumbing systems.
• Install new plumbing systems and fixtures as needed during service calls.
• Deliver clear explanations of plumbing issues and solutions to customers in a professional and approachable manner.
• Respond to emergency service calls with urgency and efficiency.
• Maintain an organized and fully stocked service vehicle to ensure timely and effective repairs.
• Document work performed and communicate findings to supervisors and clients.
• Follow all safety protocols and local plumbing codes to ensure quality workmanship.

Skills

• Proficient in residential and light commercial plumbing service and repair.
• Strong knowledge of water heaters, water softeners, filtration systems, and common plumbing fixtures.
• Skilled in using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting ability and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with customers.
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently.
• Positive attitude and commitment to providing a high level of customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $48.00 per hour
