Journeyman Plumber

Responsibilities

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings

- Read and interpret blueprints to assess or plan plumbing installations

- Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures

- Conduct inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with plumbing codes

- Collaborate with other construction professionals such as carpenters to complete projects

- Provide guidance to apprentices and less experienced plumbers

Qualifications

- Journeyman Plumber license required

- Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints

- Strong knowledge of Illinois plumbing codes and regulations

- Experience in residential/commercial, new construction, and remodeling projects

- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to plumbing work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,600.00 - $150,000.00 per year
