Journeyman Plumber

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential Plumbing service and repair, drain cleaning, cast iron sewer repair and replacement, whole house re-piping and all water heater troubleshooting, repair and replacement including gas, electric and tankless water heaters. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various residential projects. The Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber will work on construction sites and residential homes and must ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes. Candidates should possess excellent problem-solving skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential homes and condominiums
• Blueprint and technical drawing knowledge helpful
• Operate hand tools, power tools, drain cleaning machines safely and effectively
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment necessary for plumbing installations
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues on-site using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills
• Adhere to safety protocols related to construction sites, HVAC systems, and plumbing operations
• Assist with remodeling projects and/or general maintenance as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used

Skills

• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a construction environment
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards for plumbing work
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during installation or repair tasks
• Experience with remodeling projects, maintenance work, or field service operations
• Valid driver’s license for site travel or material transportation
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and project managers and excellent customer service skills

Pay: $27.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 45.0 per week
