Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation of plumbing components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble and modify piping systems.
• Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for construction plumbing projects.
• Conduct system inspections to identify issues, troubleshoot mechanical problems, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Collaborate with construction teams, electricians, HVAC technicians, and project managers to coordinate work effectively.
• Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber or in a similar construction plumbing role with a strong understanding of plumbing systems.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
• Hands-on experience with welding, pipe threading, installation of HVAC components, and remodeling projects.
• Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and heavy lifting techniques.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems related to plumbing and HVAC for commercial or industrial settings.
• Field service experience preferred, including troubleshooting mechanical issues on-site.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise installations.
• Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience is a plus; handyman or carpentry experience is beneficial for versatile project support.
