Journeymen Tile Roofers

Overview
We are seeking experienced Journeymen Tile Roofers to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining high-quality tile roofing systems on a variety of commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will help ensure durable, weather-resistant roofs that meet safety standards and client specifications. Duties

• Install, repair, and replace tile roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized fabrication equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and roofing plans to execute precise installations.
• Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely on construction sites.
• Use construction estimating skills to determine material needs and project timelines accurately.
• Apply caulking, trim carpentry, stucco, and masonry techniques to ensure seamless roof finishes and weatherproofing.
• Conduct site inspections to verify adherence to safety protocols, schematics, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members on framing, metal stud framing, plumbing integration, restoration projects, and remodeling tasks related to roofing structures.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Journeyman Tile Roofer or in a similar construction role with a focus on roofing systems.
• Strong knowledge of roofing materials, including tile installation methods and waterproofing techniques.
• Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, fabrication, and heavy lifting on construction sites.
• Familiarity with related trades such as carpentry (trim carpentry, frame carpentry), masonry, plumbing, metal stud framing, drywall (including stucco), and restoration work is highly desirable.
• Ability to read technical schematics and follow detailed instructions for complex roofing projects.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
