Journeyperson Plumber

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in plumbing systems, ensuring that installations, repairs, and maintenance are performed to the highest standards. This role requires a strong ability to read blueprints and schematics, as well as the physical capability to perform heavy lifting and work in various environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout of plumbing systems.
• Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and HVAC technicians on various projects.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively.
• Experience with heavy lifting tasks associated with plumbing installations.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is a plus.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems is advantageous but not required.
• A maintenance person background or experience in related trades can be beneficial for this position.
