Summit Healthcare Services is a fast-growing geriatric specialty agency offering multiple services for the aging adult, including Personal Training, Outpatient Therapy, Home Health and Hospice. We are looking for Junior Account Manager. This is an Entry Level sales position that we're expecting, with success, evolves into a Medical Liaison position.

We are looking for someone with a dynamic personality who has an understanding of sales techniques, with a strong presence who is able to articulate well. This person will be responsible for executing initial sales calls to build potential referral sources that include SNFs, ALFs, care homes, physician's offices, and special practices. Once referral sources have been established, this individual will regularly check on the referral sources, handling agency communication, and providing assistance/information as needed to referral sources. This position requires travel and mileage will be reimbursed. We operate within the greater Metropolitan Phoenix Area.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Calling and speaking with referral sources who have some connection to our current patient base; this may also include cold calls; sources include Senior Living Communities, Rehabs/SNFs, ALDFs, care homes, hospitals, Physician's offices and specialty practices
  • Building rapport and gathering key information about their referral sources' size, capacity, patient demographics, needs and who they currently refer to
  • Following up with inbound and existing leads; following up when care is successfully provided to a referred patient to request additional patient referrals
  • Managing consistent follow-up with prospects
  • Obtaining signatures on orders from patients' physicians
  • Assisting with the setup, facilitation and completion of marketing events
  • Conducting market research to better understand the marketing needs of the organization and its target audience

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong communication skills (or a willingness to improve fast)
  • Extroverted and enthusiastic individual who is comfortable talking to strangers, walking in uninvited, and easing into an unsolicited conversation with tact
  • Coachable and able to take feedback and immediately apply it
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and results-driven
  • Organized and able to manage multiple leads (strong knowledge of excel is a plus)
  • Sales experience such as selling solar is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with medical staff in an assertive, professional manner
  • Bachelor's in marketing or business preferred (or still in school for a related field)
  • Someone eager to learn!
  • Ability to travel reliably
