Jr. Accountant

About the Role:

YOOCHA MATCHA™ is a dynamic matcha supplier for 1500+ cafes and specialty coffee shops across the GCC. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide vital support to the Senior Accountant in streamlining the company’s financial processes and ensuring accurate day-to-day financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately record daily transactions and maintain the general ledger.
• Perform weekly and monthly reconciliations of bank, cash, and third-party payment accounts.
• Perform bookkeeping by accurately recording financial transactions and maintaining organized documentation and filing systems.
• Assist in preparing weekly and monthly sales, expense, and other MIS reports, using Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable by issuing invoices/SOAs to customers, following up on payments, maintaining vendor records, and scheduling payments.
• Assist with monthly inventory valuation and reconcile warehouse reports with system records.
• Assist with quarterly VAT reconciliation by preparing and verifying VAT reports for accuracy and compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in accounting or finance is required
• Good knowledge of accounting rules and concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
• Experience with accounting software (Odoo is a plus)
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations is an advantage
• Currently residing in the UAE, ready to join immediately

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
