Jr. Architect / Interior Designer

Job description:

The Junior Interior Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing interior design projects – Residential / Commercial , collaborating with clients, and coordinating with in- house design team (Draftsman, 3D Visualizer, Team Lead, Principle Designer), contractors and suppliers to ensure project delivery.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Prepare Proposal Presentation, develops design concepts and produces contract documents based on client needs.

2. Meets clients with Core Team and capture entire discussion to program the project requirements.

3. Coordinate with Design Team and Quality Surveyor to determine what all can be pitched to the Client in both Modular and non-modular services.

4. Prepares BOQ & Creates project budgets on basis the discussion with Client and the design inputs collected.

5. Takes accurate as-built measurements for developing floor plans and elevations.

6. Creates design concepts and digital presentations with finish selections, furnishings, and fixtures.

7. Presents design concepts and takes detailed notes to address customer requests.

8. Prepare accurate & detailed 2D technical drawings including Furniture Layout , Floorplans, sections, elevations, Detailed Drawings , RCP , MEP and plans using AutoCAD.

9. Prepare 3D renders for the design prepared (as per Client requirement).

10. Prepare the final sign-off document ( Drawings & Latest BOQ) and get it reviewed by the Team Lead.

11. Maintains up-to-date documentation of all activities & consistently update Project Plan in coordination with the Project Team.

12. Manages the coordination and logistics of product deliveries and installation.

13. Provides follow-up support with customers.

14. Develops and maintains productive and effective relationships with customers.

15. Weekly Site visits to review site progress.

QUALIFICATION

• Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
• 2-3 years of experience working as an Interior Designer/ Archtect in an architectural firm.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, 3ds max, SketchUp, Revit , Etc
• ProvenExperience in residential and commercial interior projects
• Space Planning, Architecture, and Construction Drawings skills
• Strong Analytical skills , Preparation of BOQ , Budgeting & Project Planning.
• Interior Design and FF&E expertise
• Strong understanding of Industry Standards, Knowledge of interior design principles, materials, and furnishings
• Strong attention to detail and creativity in design solutions
• Strong eye for design and aesthetics
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment or independently and follow design guidelines
