Jr. Brand Partnerships Associate
Summary
A Japanese entertainment company is seeking a Jr. Brand Partnerships Associate for their Los Angeles, CA subsidiary. In this role, you will drive sponsorship and promotional partnerships for digital creators within the North American market. You will act as a key bridge between corporate client goals and the unique creative landscape of character-based Japanese IP, utilizing both your business development expertise and creative insight to expand their global reach.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate new promotion and collaboration opportunities within the North American market.

Proactively plan and prepare pitches to initiate partnerships that generate value for digital talent productions.

Ideate creative promotional concepts and draft/refine scripts for live streams and videos to ensure alignment with brand standards.

Serve as the primary liaison between legal, finance, and talent management teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and perform ROI analysis based on performance data.

Compile and share detailed performance insights following marketing activations.
Salary & Benefits
$70K - $90K (Base Salary) + Annual Bonus, Non-Exempt

Qualifications

Required Experience: 3+ years in influencer marketing, brand partnerships, or business development within the North American entertainment or gaming sector.

Project Skills: Proven experience in scriptwriting, content creator activation, and managing multi-stage projects with various stakeholders.

Analytical Skills: Experience managing project budgets and performing ROI analysis.

Language: Business-level English (ability to lead end-to-end negotiations).

Technical Skills: High proficiency in Slack, Monday.com, and Microsoft Office.

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Preferred: Existing network of marketing agencies and clients in North America.

Plus: Proficiency in Japanese to communicate creative nuances with HQ.

Plus: Specific experience with Japanese rights holders, anime, or related subculture IPs.
