Jr. Business Analyst

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a Junior Business Analyst to join the Wavefuel team. This role is central to translating our business objectives into practical system improvements for our Industrial Automation solutions and IOT agnostic system. We need a knowledgeable analyst capable of focusing on customer value and operational process enhancement.

Responsibilities

The Business Analyst will serve as the crucial link between business stakeholders and our technical teams, ensuring the efficient development and delivery of solutions for our industrial clients.

• Requirements Elicitation & Documentation: Lead sessions to gather, analyze, and meticulously document functional and non-functional requirements for new features and upgrades to the Wavefuel IOT Platform for industrial applications.
• Customer Value Analysis: Review customer dashboards and operational data to understand system usage, identify process gaps, and recommend improvements or solutions to enhance customer efficiency and value.
• Feedback and Recommendation Delivery: Provide clear, valuable, and structured feedback to customers and internal teams based on the analysis of their usage patterns and operational performance data.
• Business Process Modeling: Analyze current business processes and workflows (both internal and customer-facing) and propose optimized solutions to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with key business users, ensuring their needs are accurately captured and communicated, and that project deliverables align with organizational strategy.
• Testing and Acceptance: Define test cases and acceptance criteria, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure delivered solutions meet the defined business requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree required in one of the following fields, or a related discipline:
• Business Administration (BBA)
• Management Information Systems (MIS)
• Industrial Engineering
• Computer Science or Information Technology
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or a related analytical role.
• Core Skills:
• Demonstrated experience in requirements management (elicitation, documentation, and traceability) using industry-standard techniques.
• Familiarity with analyzing data visualizations or dashboards to provide actionable business insights.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings and present findings effectively.
• Knowledge of process modeling and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
• Preferred (A Plus): Familiarity with Industrial Automation concepts (e.g., process controls, operational systems) or working in an IOT-focused environment.
