Jr. Civil Engineer : Roads / Highways

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Civil Engineer to support the execution and supervision of road and highway construction projects. The candidate will assist in site supervision, quality control, measurement, and coordination to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery in compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in supervising day-to-day site activities for road/highway construction.
• Monitor earthwork, subgrade, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC, and other pavement layers as per drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to approved plans.
• Coordinate with contractors, surveyors, and site supervisors.
• Check and verify levels, alignments, and measurements.
• Maintain daily progress reports (DPR) and site documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
• Assist in quantity estimation, BOQ verification, and billing certification.
• Report progress and issues to the Project Manager/Senior Engineer.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Basic knowledge of road construction methods and materials.
• Understanding of IRC/MoRTH specifications (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 2-4 years of experience in road/highway projects.
• Willingness to work at project sites and travel as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
