Junior CMS Developer (WordPress & Shopify)

About the Role:

Brand Surge is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior CMS Developer to join our web development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with WordPress and Shopify, a solid understanding of front-end web technologies, and a passion for building responsive, user-friendly websites and eCommerce stores.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects for international clients while growing your skills in web development and CMS customization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain websites using WordPress and Shopify.
• Customize themes and templates to meet project requirements and brand guidelines.
• Build responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Create and manage website content, layouts, and functionality through CMS platforms.
• Troubleshoot website issues and implement fixes to ensure optimal performance.
• Optimize websites for speed, responsiveness, and user experience.
• Integrate plugins, apps, and third-party tools as required.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and SEO teams to deliver high-quality websites.
• Conduct website testing and ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field (or currently completing the final semester).
• 6 months to 1.5 years of experience in WordPress and Shopify development.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
• Experience with WordPress theme customization and page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or similar.
• Familiarity with Shopify themes, customization, and app integrations.
• Understanding of website performance optimization and basic SEO principles.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve website issues efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with WooCommerce and Shopify eCommerce stores.
• Basic knowledge of PHP, Liquid, or version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with website migration, hosting environments, and domain management.

Pay: Rs30,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
