Jr. Corporate Claims Specialist

We're looking for an entry-level operations / administrative professional with a genuine desire to learn and grow for a well-known infrastructure services provider with significant long-term stability (many of their government contracts run into the 2100s).

Must be currently local to Greater Phoenix and able to commute into North Phoenix office 3x per week (other 2-days you can work-from-home).

The Claims Analyst will:

• Be responsible for the investigation, evaluation and resolution of liability claims. Employee must be able to work collaboratively with team members, insurance carrier claims adjusters, outside counsel, injured and/or damaged parties, and independent investigators to ensure all claims are aggressively managed to achieve optimum, cost effective outcomes.
• Oversee the resolution of General Liability, Property, Auto and Third Party Bodily Injury claims, including conducting investigations, paying or denying claims, and reporting accidents to the insurance carrier
• Conduct full investigations utilizing multiple sources
• Proactively respond to request for information from either our clients or opposing parties, return telephone calls from claimants, third parties, claimant’s counsels, and business units regarding the claim
• Respond timely to settlement offers; negotiate settlement with involved parties and document terms of settlement and/or recovered amounts
• Responsible for setting up the system files and entering data for claims
• Analyze and evaluate all evidence and facts necessary to determine liability for pursuit of subrogation recovery; make initial demand for payment upon third party insurance carriers, uninsured 3rd party, and commercial enterprises and negotiate best outcome and recovering costs
• Handle any special projects or assist with miscellaneous duties as assigned

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
