Job Description:

The Jr. Data Migration Engineer is responsible for executing data migrations from various EMR systems to the Ellkay financial data archiving solution, LKOASIS. This role requires extensive collaboration with the Project Manager to understand project requirements, develop migration plans, and ensure timely delivery.

Key responsibilities include conducting data validation and testing to ensure accuracy, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and working closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate project deliverables. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously and will actively contribute to continuous process improvements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Execute data migrations of both structured and unstructured data from various EMR systems, ensuring a seamless transition to LKOasis financial archives.
  • Serve as the primary internal point of contact for assigned EMR data migration projects, ensuring that all project timelines are met.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to understand project scope, analyze data, and develop a comprehensive delivery plan.
  • Coordinate project deliverables and milestones by working closely with various internal teams.
  • Proactively identify potential risk and implement resolution strategies to minimize project impact.
  • Coordinate data validation and testing to ensure the accuracy and integrity of migrated data.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to ensure on-time delivery

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in data analysis and Structured Query Language (SQL).
  • Preferred experience in revenue cycle management and healthcare billing
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Prompt and effective decision-making capabilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
