Core Hours: 9a-2:30p daily

About the Role

We’re looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to help support, maintain, and improve our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This is an entry-level role designed for someone who understands DevOps fundamentals and is eager to learn through hands-on experience alongside senior engineers.

You’ll work closely with engineering, QA, and cross-functional teams to improve system reliability, automation, and delivery speed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and monitoring cloud infrastructure (AWS)
• Support CI/CD pipelines for application builds and deployments
• Help manage infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts
• Assist with incident response and root cause analysis
• Support containerized applications (Docker, basic Kubernetes exposure)
• Help improve automation, documentation, and operational runbooks
• Follow security and best practices for systems and deployments

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, systems engineering, or similar
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
• Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Familiarity with Git and version control
• Strong willingness to learn and take feedback

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Exposure to Docker and container concepts
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes
• Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
• Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform preferred)
• Knowledge of networking basics (DNS, TCP/IP, load balancers)
• Relevant certifications (AWS Cloud Practitioner, etc.)
• familiarity with cloud-based test execution (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
