Jr. Electrical Engineer

GRADE Refrigeration is an Industrial Refrigeration contractor operating in the MENA region. The Jr. Electrical Engineer will dedicate himself to the best of his ability to improve the profitability of the Company and its affiliates. The Jr. Electrical Engineer will be reporting technically to the Operations Manager and administratively to the Country Area Manager.

The Position

• Familiar with industrial systems projects electrical requirements.

• Able to read/understand electrical drawings in coordination with the electrical code.

• Able to assemble, install and test industrial electrical or electronic wiring diagrams.

• Able to use test equipment and hand tools to perform his duties.

• Able to inspect industrial electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair all in compliance with local codes.

• Able to install/troubleshoot electrical systems, motors and VFDs.

• Able to implement health and safety policies in his trade.

• Able to work supervise / direct and work with small team of electricians.

• Good conduct at site – to be an example to junior electricians and to follow the orders of his superiors.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering

• 3 years of supervisory experience

• Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade

• Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations

• Knowledge of supervisory principles, practices, and techniques

• Knowledge of electrical applications for high and low voltage electrical systems

• Skill in the installation, repair, and maintenance of all types of electrical system equipment and components

• Skill in estimating time and material requirements of assigned work projects

• Can understand and communicate basic English
