- Presenting project details and technical information to colleagues and clients.
- Supervises assigned site engineers; prioritizes and assigns tasks and projects across the teams monitors work and evaluates performance; ensures staff adheres to policies and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
- Managing various project aspects of design projects and engineering-related programs, including preparing preliminary and final cost estimates; construction plans, contract documents, material specifications, acquisition of right of way and easements.
- Managing and monitoring of execution of drinking water supply infrastructures- like Pipeline laying, ESR, GSR, Balancing Tank, MBR, WTP, STP; etc.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, government agencies, local authorities and suppliers.
- Engaging in public consultations about water projects.
- Monitoring conditions at sites, for example, checking water levels.
- Maintaining professional relationships with clients.
- Supervising staff and site workers.
- Supervise subcontractors, attend project progress meeting and monitor compliance with safety codes and regulations.
- Civil project managers often manage on-site construction crews.
- Keeping up to date with changes in regulatory legislation and guidelines.
- Any other responsibility assigned by management
