Jr. Illustrator

Northern Virginia Graphics is seeking a talented Technical Illustrator to join our growing design team. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented visual problem solver who excels at precise, technical artwork and enjoys working on diverse client projects.

Our work spans cross‑section illustrations, vehicle renderings, graphical user interfaces, and other highly detailed technical visuals. If you’re motivated, organized, receptive to feedback, and capable of managing multiple fast‑paced design projects, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Create high‑quality technical illustrations for a wide range of clients
• Produce detailed visuals including cross‑sections, interfaces, equipment, and vehicles
• Work primarily in Adobe Illustrator, with supporting work in Photoshop
• Interpret technical information and transform it into clear, accurate visuals
• Collaborate with team members and adapt quickly to changing project needs
• Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines
• Incorporate feedback to continuously improve work quality

Training & Work Environment

• This position includes a structured training period of approximately 3 months
• Training will be hands‑on and collaborative, focused on:
• NVG workflows and standards
• Client expectations
• Technical illustration techniques specific to our projects
• After successful completion of training, full remote work is possible

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Education:

• Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

• Graphic Design: 1 year (Preferred)
