Hammer and Nail is a growing interior design and execution company delivering functional and aesthetic spaces. We are looking for a creative and motivated Junior Interior Designer who is eager to learn both design and on-site project coordination.

Job Summary

The Junior Interior Designer & Project Coordinator will support the design team in creating interior concepts and assist in coordinating interior projects during execution. This role is ideal for a candidate who wants hands-on exposure to design, site execution, and project management.

Key Responsibilities

Design Support:

• Assist in preparing 2D drawings and basic 3D designs
• Support space planning, layouts, and design concepts
• Help in material, finish, and furniture selection
• Assist in preparing client presentations and revisions

Project & Site Support:

• Assist in coordinating interior work at project sites
• Support senior team members in tracking project timelines
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and site supervisors
• Help ensure design intent is followed during execution
• Assist in quality checks and site documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture
• 0–2 years of experience or internships in interior design
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D software (SketchUp / 3ds Max)
• Understanding of interior materials and finishes
• Willingness to visit project sites
• Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to residential or commercial interior projects
• Basic knowledge of BOQ/BOM or estimation
• Familiarity with MS Excel and basic documentation
