Jr. IT Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, switches, routers, Wi-Fi, and firewalls
• Monitor network performance and availability; troubleshoot outages and latency issues
• Configure VLANs, DHCP, DNS, NAT, VPNs, and routing basics
• Support network security controls (firewall rules, access controls, patching coordination)
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, IP plans, and configuration backups
• Coordinate with vendors/ISPs for circuits, upgrades, and incident resolution
• Provide L2 support and work with IT team on infrastructure improvements

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in network support/engineering
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, switching/routing fundamentals
• Hands-on with common network devices (Cisco/Fortinet/MikroTik/Ubiquiti or similar)
• Familiarity with VPNs, firewall concepts, and basic security best practices
• Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi and respond to urgent incidents when needed
