Jr. IT Procurement Administrator

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior IT Procurement Administrator to join our team immediately. This role is critical in accelerating the onboarding and operational integration of IT Professional Services vendors. You will be responsible for the "source-to-repository" lifecycle, ensuring all IT contracts are accurately abstracted, governed, and stored.

Key Responsibilities

• Contract Governance & Repository Management: Capture and maintain a comprehensive inventory of all IT category contracts, including Software, Hardware, Professional Services, SOWs, and purchase orders.
• Metadata Extraction: Extract key metadata from IT contracts and ensure high-quality data entry into the central depository for near-term operational use.
• Sourcing & RFP Support: Provide data-driven analysis to support IT sourcing strategies and the IT-specific aspects of RFIs/RFPs.
• Contractual Input: Support Corporate Procurement by reviewing SOWs for scope definition, SLAs, and KPIs to ensure IT strategic alignment (Note: No negotiation or approval authority).
• Vendor Communication: Act as a liaison between vendors, IT teams, and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication and manage escalations.
• Process Integration: Assist in the continuous improvement of IT Professional Services workflows and vendor onboarding.

Qualifications

• Location: Remote, but prefer in Austin, TX, if not must be able to work on CDT
• Communication: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience: Previous experience in IT procurement, contract administration, or a junior governance role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in metadata management and familiarity with contract repositories/databases.
• Soft Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy and urgency.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field (preferred).

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
