Davidson is seeking a Mid-Level Radar Electromagnetic Warfare Analyst for Huntsville, Alabama. The Radar Electromagnetic Warfare Analyst will support analysis and modeling activities focused on electromagnetic warfare applications for missile defense systems. The role includes conducting special studies, analyzing radar electromagnetic protection techniques, and contributing to the development and use of MATLAB-based simulation tools that model radar and electronic warfare interactions at the in-phase and quadrature (I/Q) signal level.
This position provides an opportunity to develop expertise in radar systems, electronic attack and protection techniques, and RF propagation modeling while working within a classified engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities

Support engineering studies related to electromagnetic warfare and radar electromagnetic protection.

Assist in the development and execution of MATLAB-based simulations that model radar signal behavior and electronic warfare effects.

Implement radar signal models in the time domain using in-phase and quadrature (I/Q) representations.

Support analysis of electronic attack (EA) and electronicprotection (EP) concepts.

Assist with modeling of RF propagation effects and their impact on radar performance.

Perform data analysis, verification, and validation of simulation outputs.

Contribute to technical reports and engineering documentation describing analysis results.

Work with senior engineers and analysts to improve simulation models and analysis methods.
Job Requirements:

0-10 years of relevant experience (internships or research experience acceptable)

Ability to program in MATLAB

Basic understanding of radar systems or radar signal processing fundamentals

Familiarity with RF concepts and signal propagation

Ability to work in a classified on-site environment

Must be a U.S. citizen
Preferred Qualifications:

Coursework or project experience involving radar systems, RF engineering, or signal processing

Exposure to electronic warfare concepts, including electronic attack and electronic protection

Experience working with I/Q signal representations or time-domain signal modeling

Familiarity with Simulink, Python, or C/C++

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills
