Core Responsibilities
- Dispensing Medications
- Accurately dispense prescribed drugs under supervision of a senior pharmacist.
- Ensure proper labeling and dosage instructions for patients.
- Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor stock levels of medicines and consumables.
- Assist in procurement, storage, and expiry-date checks of pharmaceuticals.
- Patient Interaction
- Provide basic counseling on medication usage, side effects, and storage.
- Clarify prescription details to patients when needed.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Maintain records of controlled substances as per hospital and statutory guidelines.
- Follow NABH and pharmacy council standards for documentation.
- Support Senior Pharmacists
- Assist in preparing compounding formulations if required.
- Help in maintaining drug policies and standard treatment protocols.
