Job Overview

We are looking for dynamic and result-oriented Junior Production Engineers / Quality Engineers with hands-on experience in Machining, Fabrication, and Production operations. The candidate must have practical shop-floor exposure and a strong understanding of production processes, welding, quality inspection, and measurement techniques.

This role requires a technically sound individual who is eager to learn, adaptable, and committed to long-term professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervision of shop-floor production activities
• Ensuring quality compliance as per drawings and specifications
• Monitoring machining and fabrication processes
• Inspection of components using precision measuring instruments
• Coordination between Production, Quality, and Fabrication teams
• Maintaining production reports and quality documentation
• Identifying process improvements and reducing rejection rates
• Supporting dispatch readiness and final inspection

Technical Knowledge Required Measurement Instruments:

• Micrometer
• Vernier Caliper
• Height Gauge
• Profile Projector
• Bore Gauge
• UTM (Universal Testing Machine)
• Hardness Tester
• Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
• Liquid Penetration Testing (LPT)

Machine Knowledge:

• NC Turning
• CNC Vertical Milling
• Hydraulic Cutting Machine
• Power Band Saw Machine
• Projection Welding Machine
• MIG Welding
• Arc Welding
• Lathe Machine
• Drilling Machine
• SPM Machine
• Threading & Tapping Machine

Technical Skills Required

• Strong understanding of welding and grinding processes
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Understanding of production workflow and quality checkpoints
• Basic knowledge of root cause analysis
• Exposure to fabrication and machining environments

Candidate Profile

• Mechanical background (Diploma / B. Tech preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant industry experience
• Strong willingness to learn and grow
• Energetic and disciplined
• Ready to work on shop floor
