Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose mental health conditions based on assessments and patient history.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications safely and effectively.
• Conduct psychotherapy sessions tailored to each patient’s needs and symptoms.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, and other professionals.
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis and treatment options.
• Handle psychiatric emergencies and crisis interventions as required.
• Maintain confidential medical records and documentation accurately.

Skill & Experience

• Strong clinical knowledge of psychiatry, neurobiology, and psychopharmacology.
• Excellent communication skills to build trust with patients effectively.
• Empathy and active listening to understand patient experiences deeply.
• Problem-solving skills for tailoring individual treatment plans.
• Resilience and stress-management to handle emotionally challenging cases.
• Ethical judgment and professionalism in sensitive patient interactions.
