Jr. QS - Civil

· Assist in the preparation of project budgets, cost estimates, and cost plans under the guidance of senior quantity surveyors.

· Support cost monitoring activities to ensure project works are executed within the approved budget and schedule.

· Assist in the preparation, checking, and verification of contractors’ monthly payment applications, including measurement of works related to interim payments, provisional sums, and variations.

· Carry out quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings and site progress to support accurate cost evaluations and valuations.

· Support the updating of project budgets based on approved construction drawings, shop drawings, and approved variations.

· Assist in the preparation, submission, and follow-up of variation orders with consultants and clients.

· Support the preparation of bid packages and assist in procurement activities for vendors and subcontractors.

· Assist in the technical and commercial evaluation of vendor quotations and subcontractor proposals.

· Support in preparing subcontractor payment certificates and assessment of variation claims.

· Collect, verify, and maintain supporting documentation for any deviations from project specifications or scope changes.

· Monitor site activities and promptly report quantity variations, discrepancies, or potential cost impacts.

· Coordinate with site engineers and project teams to gather accurate data for cost tracking and reporting.

· Assist in preparing monthly cost reports, including material usage versus work completed.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quantities, costs, measurements, and project documentation.

· Provide regular updates to the line manager regarding site progress, cost status, and financial risks.

· Ensure compliance with contract conditions, company procedures, and applicable industry standards.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

• Industrial/Fitout/Design-Build/Logistics.: 3 years (Required)
