Jr. Quality Engineer

Job Title: Junior Quality Engineer — Sheet Metal Manufacturing

Role summary- Support QC activities for sheet‑metal production (incoming, in‑process, final/dispatch) to ensure parts meet drawings, BOM and safety standards.

Key responsibilities-

• Perform incoming inspections (material certificates, dimensions, visual) and record results.
• Execute in‑process checks on shearing, laser cutting, bending, fabrication and assembly.
• Conduct final inspections and support for dispatched kits; verify packing/kitting against BOM.
• Knowledge of inspection tools (vernier, micrometer, gauges, coating thickness gauge, etc.)
• Complete standard check sheets, NCR entries, and maintain traceability records.

Qualifications & skills:

• Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Min. 2 years in manufacturing QC (sheet metal preferred).
• Familiarity with reading engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Basic knowledge of measurement instruments and inspection techniques.
• Good attention to detail, data recording and basic Excel skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
