Job Description:

Contrive Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior SQA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have 2 years to 3 years of experience in software testing and a strong understanding of QA methodologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts
• Perform manual testing on web and mobile applications
• Identify, report, and track bugs using tools like Jira or similar
• Collaborate with developers to ensure quality standards are met
• Conduct regression, functional, usability, and performance testing
• Ensure proper documentation of testing processes and results

Requirements:

• 2 years to 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with testing tools and bug tracking systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of SQL and APIs is a plus
• Good communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman) is a plus
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
