Juice Barista

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of fresh juices, smoothies, and specialty beverages using professional equipment.
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and offering product recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Operate POS systems such as to process transactions swiftly and accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation procedures.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as ingredient assembly, garnishing, and packaging beverages for takeout or dine-in.
• Support inventory management by restocking supplies, monitoring product freshness, and communicating stock needs.

Experience

• Previous barista experience in a café or food service environment is preferred; experience with coffee or juice bar operations is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems enhances efficiency in transaction processing.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.
