Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of fresh juices, smoothies, and specialty beverages with precision and care
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the café area, including food handling and preparation
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations
• Ensure timely food service by managing time effectively during busy hours and multitasking as needed
• Support food safety protocols by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices

Qualifications

• Prior barista or food service experience preferred, especially within cafés or retail environments
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation techniques, and proper handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing
• Ability to stand for extended periods while maintaining energy and enthusiasm throughout shifts
