Job Description: Junior 3D Artist (Idols & Decor)

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior 3D Artist to join our design team. This role is specifically focused on translating 2D artistic concepts into high-quality 3D models of deity idols (Gods/Goddesses) and ornate home decor pieces.

As a fresher, you will have the opportunity to refine your sculpting skills under the guidance of senior designers, turning intricate traditional art into production-ready digital assets.

Key Responsibilities

3D Sculpting & Modeling: Create highly detailed 3D models of idols and decorative items based on 2D sketches, photos, or reference images.

Anatomical Accuracy: Ensure divine proportions and traditional iconographies (as seen in Indian or classical art) are captured accurately.

Retopology: Convert high-poly ZBrush sculpts into optimized, clean meshes in Maya for further production or 3D printing.

Detailing: Add intricate textures, jewelry patterns, and fabric folds using ZBrush.

Collaboration: Work closely with the design lead to ensure the "soul" and aesthetics of the 2D reference are maintained in the 3D version.

Technical Skills Required

ZBrush: Expert-level digital sculpting (Organic forms, intricate ornaments, drapery).

Visual Accuracy:

Ability to interpret 2D silhouettes and translate them into 3D volume.

Qualifications & Soft Skills

Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing organic sculpting (characters or statues) and hard-surface decor pieces.

Artistic Eye: A deep understanding of form, silhouette, and aesthetic balance.

Attention to Detail: Ability to replicate fine jewelry and traditional patterns from references.

Learning Mindset: A proactive approach to receiving feedback and improving technical workflows.

Education: Degree/Diploma in Fine Arts, Animation, or 3D Design.
