Junior Accountant

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build a strong foundation in accounting. You will play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Assist with payroll processing and related documentation
• Prepare and file tax returns and compliance reports as needed
• Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software - Tally is compulsory and Microsoft office
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
