Junior Accountant

Job Title: Junior Accountant Department: Accounts / Finance Reporting To: Senior Accounts Executive / Accounts Manager

Job Summary:

The Junior Accounts Executive will assist in managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting the finance team in maintaining proper accounting practices. The role involves data entry, voucher preparation, reconciliation, and assisting in statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily accounting transactions such as sales, purchases, receipts, and payments in Tally or ERP system.
• Prepare and maintain vouchers, invoices, bills, and supporting documents.
• Handle petty cash transactions and maintain proper records.
• Assist in bank reconciliations and maintaining bank books.
• Prepare and update accounts receivable/payable statements.
• Support in monthly closing and preparation of financial statements.
• Assist in filing GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments for payment and billing queries.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
• Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.

Skills & Competencies:

• Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP / Excel / MS Office.
• Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines.

Education & Experience:

• Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
• Experience: 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles (Freshers can apply).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
