Junior Accountant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to manage and oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in the manufacturing industry, with strong expertise in Tally and a solid understanding of financial processes and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit-and-loss statements.
• Monitor and reconcile bank statements, vendor payments, and inter-company transactions.
• Ensure accurate and timely tax filings, including GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
• Manage inventory accounting and cost control processes specific to manufacturing operations.
• Generate reports on financial performance and provide insights for cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with all accounting standards, internal controls, and financial regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation for audits.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA Inter or CMA certification is an advantage).
• 1-2years of proven experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in Tally ERP 9/Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred:

• Prior experience in a manufacturing company is highly desirable.
